Important information on reservations, payments, and resort use.
Booking Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy:
Please ensure that any special bedding requirements are advised to us 24 hours prior to your arrival and note that any specific room number requests will be subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
Please note that any form of Credit Card Payment will attract a Surcharge (1.8% Visa & MasterCard and 1.8% Amex).
Check in time is FROM 2PM. No early arrivals can be guaranteed. Should you be arriving after hours (5pm weekdays and 3pm Saturday & Sunday), please contact us prior to your arrival so we can advise you of our after-hours procedures.
Check out is 10AM or earlier. Late checkouts are not guaranteed unless prepaid. A half day fee will ensure a later checkout for you. You are welcome to use the resort facilities and we can store luggage, if room permits, if you have a later flight or transfer.
CANCELLATION POLICY
No refunds due to shortened length of stay or No Show
Amendments made to a booking may incur a fee. Please note that we highly recommend Travel Insurance to all guests and do not refund or rebook due to inclement weather or disinclination to travel.
Low Season - Flexible 3 days - Special offers
• The guest can cancel free of charge until 3 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel in the 3 days before arrival.
• The guest will be charged a prepayment of the total price of the reservation in the 3 days before arrival.
Low and Mid-Season - Flexible 7 days
• The guest can cancel free of charge until 5 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel in the 5 days before arrival.
• The guest will be charged a prepayment of the total price of the reservation in the 5 days before arrival.
Advance Purchase – Non-Refundable
• The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel at any time. If the guest doesn't show up, they will be charged the total price of the reservation.
• The guest will be charged a prepayment of the total price of the reservation at any time.
High Season – Christmas / New Year
• The guest can cancel free of charge until 30 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel in the 30 days before arrival.
• The guest will be charged a prepayment of the total price of the reservation in the 30 days before arrival.
PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE A SELF-CATERING RESORT AND WE DO NOT PROVIDE DAILY SERVICING OF YOUR APARTMENT.
We supply linen for existing bedding, crockery & cutlery. A complimentary starter kit of shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, tea, coffee, sugar & UHT milk, a garbage bag, dishwashing & laundry sachets are supplied upon arrival. Once this is used, you are asked to supply your own, or you can purchase extra items from Reception.
Damage & Behaviour
Scarborough Beach Resort requires a Pre-Auth of $200/room on a valid credit card at the time of arrival. E.g. 2-bedroom is $400
Guest numbers are limited to the number of guests requested at the time of reservation. Guests must abide by the Body Corporate By Laws during their stay. Digital bylaws are available for all guests
Our holiday premises are not pet-friendly, and smoking is prohibited. You can smoke outside the property boundary.
Should any behaviour during your stay become unacceptable to us, we reserve the right, without prior notice, to terminate your stay and to require you to leave the premises forthwith.
Liability & Indemnity
Guests staying in our holiday units do so at their own risk. Scarborough Beach Resort Management, The Body Corporate or the Accommodation’s Owner incur no liability for any loss, damage to property, personal injury or illness, including by reason of negligence. You agree further to indemnify and to keep indemnified Scarborough Beach Resort Management and its employees, against liability to any person arising under or in right of you in respect of any loss or damage arising out of or in consequence of your participation in the use of the premises managed by Scarborough Beach Resort QLD.
Fees & Charges
By agreeing to pay the accommodation deposit, you agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement and authorise Scarborough Beach Resort to debit any and all fees and charges set out herein to the credit card details which you provided at the time of making the accommodation deposit.
Providing a deposit along with your credit card details will secure your booking and will indicate that you agree to the above terms.
NOTE: All properties are self-catering and not subject to daily servicing or replenishment.
